  Make snek.svg work better with dark background

Add white to snek eyes.  Add gradiant disc behind head to ensure
eyebrows are visible.

  doc: Provide 'book' formatting for snek manual

This reformats the text to 5.5in x 8.5in and provides a cover image
for the manual so that it can be printed.
