The two guys who built most of the airframe, Dan Kirkpatrick and Dave
Camarillo, are serious ME types with plenty of machine tools between
them. Hardening the custom 4340 steel bearings was a new adventure for
them, but it turned out amazingly well.

4850m max height, 380m/s max speed. That on a CTI N2850 motor, which may
let you deduce that the liftoff weight was on the beefy side :-)
