[Islandwools] Fall is on its way!

We are celebrating the coming of Autumn with a special kit for a Kenzie Shawl <http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kenzie-shawl>  by Stephen West.  Julie knit up this shawl using 7 colors of Whimsical Colors Merino Bliss DK.  The pattern calls for 8 colors, but really, this shawl, at 2 1/2 feet by 7 feet is plenty large with just 7!

As you need just 50g of each color, the starting point for this shawl was one of our large gradient kits.  These kits have five 50g skeins.  In this case, Julie used a Fall Colors kit plus Griffin Bay and French Vanilla.  There are gradient kits in other colors as well, but we have made up a special kit that includes the 5 Fall colors plus Griffin Bay and French Vanilla (all skeins are 50g).
