Subject: [Calypso] DAVDroid and Calypso

I am aware that other people have this working. I assume I am doing
something wrong.

Calypso has several calendars, including private/roger-public. I'm
interacting with these at the moment via Icedove (debranded
Thunderbird); that mostly works.

Calypso version is 1.5-5 from Debian/testing, on a system that's
otherwise running Debian/stable. DAVDroid is 1.11.2-ose on LineageOS
15.1.

Within DAVDroid, I start to create an account, and select "Login with
URL and user name". And then things start going wrong, dependent on the
URL I give.

1. https://calendar-host:5233/

logs in, "Create account" (groups are separate vCards) - then shows the
URL under CardDAV, not CalDAV. Synchronisation does not appear to do anything.

2. https://calendar-host:5233/private/

Can't find a CalDAV server at all.

3. https://calendar-host:5233/private/roger-private/

As for the first option.

I've tried adding the account from within the system calendar, but that
runs through the same sequence and then drops back to an empty calendar.

I don't see anything obviously incorrect in my actions. What should I be
doing differently?
